I think that banners are very irritating when they are placed on a page or website. I do understand the fact that some sites have these banners posted because they are paid sponsors. I know there are tools out there like puresilvabannermaker.com that allow people to make easy to use banners, but they're spreading around the internet too much - websites look like billboards these days. Sometimes sites that have banners on them make me think that the site is a trojan or a virus, you know a scam somebody trying to get you to purchase something. I could problay deal with a banner on a website or page as long as it does not distract my main point of visiting that particular site. Because you have some banners that pop up every five to fifteen seconds. If websites and pages do decide to put banners on their page they should think about placing the banner away from the important part of that website and page. I know that these websites have to have sponsors but can't they think about the consumers too, and the annoyance that comes along with having a banner. |

I have heard that this call center not too far from our office building is offering huge sign up bonus to successful new hires. Several of my co-workers have transferred and I have heard through the grapevine that the commission they are getting is unbelievable. Talk of money always get a lot of people interested but not me. The word commission is like a vermin that I avoid at all cost. Sales has never been my forte and if you expect huge commissions then you must be very good at sales. When Elisa said something about getting a commission when the website traffic increase I smirked. The pressure is just not worth it, I mean the commission is only what 10 percent of what she earns and I personally don't think it is big enough to compensate for the stress and sleepless nights. When I voiced this out to Millie she told me that I should not be so surprised with the things people do for money. It's quite sad really but we all got to do what is necessary to survive. |

Memories of how internet connection could only be found in top business offices bring a feeling of pain and inconvenience. Before the rapid and widespread growth of the internet in most countries of the world the concept of instant communication was unfamiliar and unheard of. After decades of poor communication there was the development of cyber cafes and then wireless internet which made it even more convenient for people separated by large distances to communicate. This ease has however come with the Problem With Internet Connection. In today's world it is very common to find that people have all the equipment that they need to set up an internet connection but with slow transfer speeds it becomes almost useless to have this technology. Such incidences are particularly common in developing countries where there is still a lacking development in terms of how the internet has advanced. The good thing is that many international firms are taking their technology to the third world countries and this has greatly eliminated the problems that come with poor or lacking internet connection. |
