As an avid horse rider competing in endurance I often cross paths quite literally with motorbike riders - replete with their bright and vibrant motocross clothing - on my training runs. If you are in New South Wales Australia and travel to the South Coast, Morton National Park has some fantastic, challenging tracks to give even the most experienced riders some serious fun. If it has been raining it adds a whole new dimension to the challenge. You can enter from Kingiman Road and access endless tracks to the north, south and west. Take a map as it can get confusing and you might end up in Braidwood before you know it! Some are wide, some are tight, many are steep and the views are worth the trip if nothing else. There are many experienced off-road motorbike riders locally who would be keen to take visitors out to these tracks, they are always out there on a Sunday morning from 730am onwards. Come to the coast and see what we have to offer, and after your hot and/or muddy ride you can always go to the local beaches for a refreshing swim. |
